Expect a fun dinner party up on the hill, backyard-wedding style. Formal (and colorful) attire, please!

We’re so excited to be married, and we love good food and a good party. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Schedule of the Day

  • How romantic. Don’t be late! The bride is the only one who’s allowed to be late. Doors will open at 3pm.

  • Beer, wine, cocktails, and NA drinks and appetizers will be served. Please share any dietary restrictions you may have when you RSVP so we can accommodate you!

  • We had to book the sunset years in advance. What a racket! Don’t miss it.

  • Don’t watch! We’re shy.

  • There will be a variety of options on the menu from a local chef. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know when you RSVP so we can accommodate you!

  • Ellen will probably cry.

  • Save room!

  • We’ll ask everyone to join us on the dance floor for a large group photo, then you’re welcome to dance or mingle as you please!

  • We’re cutting you off. Party animals.

  • Show’s over at 9! Please help us respect the venue’s rules and support all our lovely vendors so they have time to tidy up, too. Enjoy a reasonable bedtime, or if you’d like to keep the party going, join us in Ocean Beach at The Holding Company following the reception. There will be organized rides departing the venue at 9pm.

Good to know

  • The dress code is formal. Think mid- or full-length dresses for women; dress shirts+pants or suits for men.

    Colors are: all of them! Please don’t be afraid of some color. Wear something that makes you smile, or that you never get to wear anywhere else. We want you to be comfortable, but dressing up is so much fun. Enjoy it!

  • There is ample street parking located around The Thursday Club. Street parking is not metered. If you choose to drink, please ensure you have a safe ride home. We encourage everyone to Uber or Lyft if they will be drinking. You may leave your car parked outside the venue overnight without issue, if needed! It is a safe and quiet neighborhood.

    If you choose to join us for the after party, there will be organized rides from the Thursday Club to The Holding Company departing at 9pm.

  • Our ceremony will start promptly at 3:30pm. Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the ceremony to say hello and find a seat.

  • We will have a short ceremony outdoors with an outdoor cocktail hour to follow, all before the sunset. The reception will be indoors. You may want a light jacket or wrap if you tend to get cold, although extra blankets and heaters will be provided if it gets too chilly.

    Plan for mid 60s with a breeze, and hopefully some sunshine! The weather in San Diego can swing up to the 70s, or into the 50s in December, so please keep an eye on the weather reports as the date nears. We will do our best to accommodate!

  • Your presence is our present! We do not expect gifts—making the time and effort to be with us in San Diego is all we ask for. However, if you’d like to browse our registry or contribute to our remodel project, you can do so here.
